I have been so quiet on here these past few months and can only apologise as per usual – my studies have been drawing to a close in my current programme, and the pressure has been on… but I can finally say, hello little blog o’ mine!
The sunshine has been out in full force these past few days, and has left me feeling a little bit queasy (too much sun for me!) but that won’t stop me… it’s time to tell you my good news!
If you haven’t already seen on my Instagram, it’s about time you found out – as of September, I will be studying my LLB at City of Law School in London! Yes – the apprentice is doing her degree!
I am so happy to be given this opportunity and to have the amazing support from the company that I work for to be able to take this route. It is a 6 year journey, with 4 years for my degree followed by 2 years of my qualifying solicitor exams; and I am so ready to start! I love learning new things and seeing myself develop. Yes, the next 6 years will likely be very difficult, juggling work with a degree and then ending with some very tough exams, but I know that the company I work for, the people I work with and all my family & friends will help me get through with all the support I need.
If you want to find out a little bit more about this amazing opportunity, visit Solicitor Apprenticeship to get all the details on what this route is about!
On that note, make sure to keep drinking plenty of fluids (so you don’t end up sick like me!) and enjoy the sunshine – we missed it!
